Lilac Wedding
Purple was the ‘in’ colour of 2012 but Bride’s are still opting for a lilac wedding and for lilac and lavenders to feature in their special day. These two colours are the perfect colour combination for spring. They are fresh, feminine and chic. Teamed with Lilac or Hydrangea that are beautifully in bloom at this time of the year. This theme can be elegant, with a touch of silver bling, or pearls. Or even rustic added to silvered wooden accessories. A spring wedding gives endless colour opportunities.
This week’s featured Wedding Invitations were designed for Catherine and Scott.
Catherine and Scott are having an Elegant, Lilac and Grey Themed Wedding.Their invitation was designed using a floral cut-work card with soft lilac and grey card stock. I’ve used lots of pearls, Lilac satin ribbon, and as the Bride’s bouquet will feature hydrangea, I’ve finished them with hydrangea petals and handmade silver foiled leaves
